About us
Working Farm
Johnsons Harbour is managed by Lee, Martha and their brood of four girls.
Spread over 22,000 hectares, the land comprises of beautiful aqua seas, rocky coastlines and white sandy beaches. With peat banks galore and the higher peaks which offer great views up and down Berkeley Sound – plenty of room for 9500 sheep and 50 breeding cattle to roam freely alongside the plentiful wildlife.
Seasonal
Farm Life
Depending on the time of year, you may see different things around the farm.
October – February on and off during these months we will be shearing, so whilst looking out of the windows you may see a flock of woolly sheep running towards the shed, then skipping off back with no coats.
We also have friendly working dogs, pigs (often with piglets) and hens.
If we are shearing, you are welcome to come and look. It’s a busy place, but visitors and questions are welcomed.
