Booking T&Cs

Please familiarise yourself with these articles before booking

Bookings

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking
  • Full payment is required before or during your stay
  • Arrival/Check-in is from 2pm onwards on the first day of booking
  • If arriving earlier than 2pm, you may be required to wait
  • Departure/Check-out is before 11am on the last day of booking
  • Upon departure/check-out, personal belongings may be left in your car or the shed, but done so at your own risk

Single Occupancy Bookings

  • Single Occupancy Bookings are charged at the amount stated on the reservations page
  • Bookings can still be made online, but do not pay at this time as the amount stated will not be the required amount
  • If any payment is made, the remainder will be billed accordingly
  • We will be in touch with an invoice and a link for the required amount

Cancelations

  • If you need to cancel you booking, you must do so at your earliest possible convenience
  • 50% of the deposit will be refunded if the booking is cancelled at 21 days or less to first day of booking
  • No refunds of the deposit if cancelling 7 days or less to the first day of booking
  • Should we need to cancel your booking, we will inform you as soon as possible and issue a full refund of the deposit.
  • Alternative dates will be offered when availability permits should we cancel your booking

Liability

  • We will not be held liable for any damage or injury that occurs throughout the property of Johnsons Harbour, unless it is due to an act of neglect by ourselves or our employees

Lost Property

  • Items found will be collected and kept safe in the main house for a period of up to one month from departure/check-out of the last day of booking
  • Items can be collected from us once identification of ownership has been confirmed
  • Items requested to be brought into Stanley can be done so on our next available visit
  • Items requested to be posted will be charged for the service

Damage

  • We reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage or breakages that occur due to neglect or malicious behaviour
  • Any and all damages or breakages must be reported

Missing Items

  • Anything missing from the self-catering will be charged for
  • Items taken from the Honesty Store or Honesty Freezer without payment will be charged for

Smoking

  • The self-catering house and shed are both strictly non-smoking
  • Smoking is permitted outside of the self-catering building and not to occur within doorways or out of open windows
  • Please extinguish all cigarette ends correctly
  • Please refrain from smoking when away from the main building and out in Camp to avoid fires

Dogs

  • Dogs are welcome at an extra charge
  • All dog mess must be picked up and placed in the outside bin
  • Dogs must be kept under control at all times
  • Additional charges may occur for destructive damage
