Diamond Cove & Berkeley Sound

A lovely sheltered, sandy cove with views out to the Sound.

Along the coast, rockhopper penguins often have visits from a Northern rockhopper and macaroni penguins.

Carrying on the track from Magellan beach and up over the clay hill, you will reach Diamond Cove.

The ruins of an old stone house can still be seen – this burnt down and was replaced by the shanty which is still there today.

The views along this coast are simply stunning.
